When money takes over

I apologise for posting a blog about this woman. I fancy her no more than any other pop artist. But Kelly Rowland's new album that is about to be released got me thinking.

What happened to the RnB Kelly. She has just released a new song 'When Love Takes Over' and all I can hear is a synth and electric drum beat. Oh Kelly, I think you should stick to what you know, and not be sold out by the bucks you'll earn for conforming. There's enough Pop Princesses out there anyway.

Freedom?

So, Im slightly confused at the moment. Trials are finished, my PIP final draft has been handed in, I have two weeks before me to do whatever I want, yet I'm feeling guilty that I have so much free time.

Although I plan on drinking tea & being more lazy than a sloth these holidays, I continually return to the thought that maybe I should do some schoolwork.

It's not only sad, but scary to think that I don't know what to do with myself when I have two weeks of freedom. What about the 4 months I will get off at the end of the year? I'm afraid to think of how many pointless blogs I will compose during that time. Poor you.

On a lighter note, I'm looking forward to doing some driving, reading, blog posting, photography, shopping, and being an old nana these holidays... and maybe a bit of schoolwork. It's kinda fun.... NERD.

To the bay & back

Today I had the pleasure of strolling down to Yowie Bay & back with a dear friend of mine Jordan Fisher. We manage to make the most normal things strange; we encompass all that is weird and we love it.

Take a leaf out of our book and embrace the inner child - I dare you to. You just may have some fun.

The First of Mina Sidor

My blog is called "Mina Sidor", meaning 'my pages' in Swedish, simply because it sounds pretty and is strange - much like myself.

I hope to share with you lifes wonders, and hopefully only occasionally have a whinge.

In the middle of my HSC, my posts may bore you as my life revolves around study currently, but I hope to use my blogging to have a moment of bliss away from the books.

Enjoy.

And in case you didn't already know, I drink endless amounts of tea. Here's a photo from out of my window the other morning.
